But that statement is far from the truth

Yea, you right I want those things

But you can still be alone sitting in the presence of another human being

You don't receive the same love and support you give away

You read your bible, you pray and you stay telling me no

But I ain't going nowhere

You stuck with me til God calls you home

That in fact is a true statement

But let me give you some truths that come from my Savior

Let your conduct be without covetousness

Be content with such things as you have

For He Himself said, I will never leave you nor forsake you

That's Hebrews 13 verse 5

Here's another one for you

And having You, I have no desire for anything on earth

My flesh and my heart are wasting away

But God is the Rock of my heart and my eternal heritage

That's Psalm 73:23-26

I won't let your words be louder than my praise

No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn't know what his lord does

But I have called you friends

And that is John 15:15

My Comforter lives within

The peace of God which surpasses all understanding

Will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus

Philippians 4:7

If then you were raised with Christ seek those things which are above, where Christ is

Sitting at the right hand of God

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth

Colossians 3:1-4

I'm good with or without a squad

Listen

Too many people scared to walk alone

Thinking they need a team to win

Man, I won when God chose me

And I accepted His invitation to be free from sin

I'm not saying having a team or a crew is bad news

It's when you think you need more than Christ

That's what'll have you singing the blues

Is likes and a huge following

Why do we waste our time

When the time we have we're just borrowing?

Whatever you do, do to the glory of God

And believe that he has already equipped you

You don't need anybody else You can do it to the fullest

Even if it's just Him and the person walking in yo shoes

Here's another truth

The closer you get to Christ

The more the wrong people will start to fall away

But He said surely I am with you always

To the very end of the age

Christ fought with God's Word

We have to do the same thing

So I quit listening to those sad songs
