I was barely sober

This is my reality

I was barely sober, took a life that could be over

Push pain to the side and made it something to be sure of

Swallowed every ounce of pride and stomached what I'd throw up

Pushing all these boundaries

I've been taking my time, Like a thief in that night

I've been thinking about time and life, how God could waste his on mine

Judging all the things I do wrong, and judging all the things that I write

Rap is like a confessional, the dark I bring to that light
