With the sox hat back, robbing candy from the store

Little northeast city, I'm just genuinely bored

Though there's plenty to adore, I'm so ready to explore

After graduation, I'll be flyin' out of state

Like I'm tryin' to escape, all that's piled on my plate

Lil' child on a chase, ain't no doubt I'll make it

Got the grind that it takes, been designed for that sake

Backpack on a bus and now I'm headed up to Venice

Said I might as well be dead if I don't ever get the lettuce

In my head I'm just a menace turned the soul of my apprentice

I'm dependin' on the bread and every second I'm not present
