Break, break, break, break, goes my heart in a pile

My ex shattered me in pieces and she damaged my smile

Hate my reflection in the mirror, was I ever good enough?

Arguments, the silent treatments, questions, are we good or what?

It surely wasn't, bugging out, I couldn't figure her out

Confused while tryna understand what she was bitter about

I've had doubts of entering what I should of never been in

We were both rushing love that never had a beginning

We both were sinning by dishonesty but I was committed

Was our relationship a test or a lesson to witness?

Insecurities were hidden 'till they all were exposed

After we both disagreed on opinions, it showed
