Open Letter

What if life had been a picture perfect dream scape

Not this everlasting shift of these obscene shapes

Everybody just extending out their hand always quick to giving back

With no one switching up to speak hate

I don't know if I would see as well or feel at all

Could I understand the peak if never felt a fall

Would I struggle with the need to be aware and call

On something different than the peacefulness and bare it all

Cuz now I see this different side of life

And I'm appreciating every day I'm shining bright

But if I didn't have the years lost binded hyped

Would it really even matter if I got to anywhere I got all blind and light
