I pick up the pen

With my ink in blood

The way I weigh the blame

Thought I'd try but have baggage

That they don't want to claim

So I look at the ceiling

Screens light up the room

Thought that I would die there

Would be the writer's tomb

Yeah, things might get better

Think it might be soon

But I still feel the darkness
