Or the hardships of life, or loving or sex

Sometimes it's okay to lack depth

Every song doesn't need to be a Macbeth

Phat beat, nice rhymes, rinse and repeat

That's all you need for a song to succeed

And as a bonus to just kickin' some heat

Make the listener laugh like you tickled their feet

It doesn't have to be anything in particular

Flowing right from the heart it is getting very ventricular

Doesn't have to be hard, it could be picnic-ular

Don't have to be a job, it could be extracurricular

I forget, then I sit till the rust has won

But to not create is an injustice done

So I gotta keep it going like how Gump would run

It can simply be simple

Good bass make the drums pop like a pimple

Write rhymes tight make em drop all they pencils

In terms of music it's a drop in the ocean

100,000 songs a day in constant motion

But the nature of water is that it's gotta keep flowin'
