Flame in his eyes

As he sweats off his captivating skin

Mr. Wax spends the majority of his days

Tending his flame

Cuz he was promised soon as his wax melted away

That he would all in all befall a change

And he would be revealed for who he truly is

And all his pain burns with the wick that holds the flame

Inevitably, all of his skin drip-

Dripping down his chin

Onto the floor begins a melt pool

Wider than it's been before

And these nights always remind him that the flame is all he has

And now the dripping of the wax begins to waver

As his flame starts waving to the creature living in his freezer

Mr. Wax perceives he's under attack

So he will flee until his feet hurt

Till he thinks he's not in danger from drying out

The threat of his flame dying out is trying on his mind

Though on occasion

Threatening his mushroomed wick

It reached out with its tendons

He would never let it touch

Until one day they ate a meal of candle soot

And then it hid

It was a fear that Mr. Wax had rarely ever felt

He knew that if the light went out

Then he would never get to melt

And now his trust in friends was frayed

And what else happened on that day
