I'm Not Sorry

Little colder in my tent this morning

Unzipped my bag and stretched my legs

Throw another log on the wood stove

Warm up a cup of coffee with at smile on my face

Fried eggs and bacon on the cast iron, lace up its time to hit the trails

Daddy's gun was a little heavy

But his memory and the will to stand tall and climb that hill keeps me strong

He might be gone but his heart was in the mountains

And that's where I feel him still

So, that's why I'm not sorry, that's why I won't change

It's more than my right, it's a gift my daddy gave
