Let's pretend like I'm five again

I don't wanna know about politics and climate change

I just wanna have mashed potatoes

And play with my friends

watch cartoons and not the news

Back before I knew love, before my heart was in two

The only thing that I knew, was my candy and juice

I don't wanna stress no more, there's so much going on

They say I need to be strong, but for how long

So I'll pretend like I'm five again I won't go to work, I'll lay on my bed

I'll go outside and play in the sun run around until I fall
