One Month

(I guess I kinda just realised, that some things aren't meant to be forever)

Honey I, I stayed up all night

I turned my ringer on in case you changed your mind 

And I laugh with my friends, they say you were never worth my time

But the drive home I'm blurry-eyed

And again I'm up all night

I lose my appetite every time I see Ford headlights

I cave and call your contact but the voicemail picks it up

And even just 30 seconds of "leave it at the beep"

Are enough to break my heart again,

But you turned off your ringer and went to sleep
