I never liked circles they never seemed fair

I rather liked diamonds triangles or squares

Walking in a circle went faster I swear

didn't feel like the tortoise I felt like the hare

And when I was wishing to be where I am

It slipped away slipped right through my hands

And a year turned to two then to four then to five

Only worries would be falling when I was nine

So I lay awake thinking about how quickly it changed
