I know it's been awhile

And it may sound a bit off 'cause we've never been the best of friends

But ever since I left, we never took the time to set amends

Not saying there's bad blood but when we moved out a lot of issues were left abreast

I'm really hurt that we're not close enough and he pushed us further apart

It's possible but I need a more positive start

I wish returning home was apart of those goals

But the big brother made me feel like I never belonged and never at home

I wish we'd take the time and just truly get to bond

And laugh about the past like when we got so drunk and got into trouble with my mom

Because I don't want to look back and cry about the time we would've lost

I know it'll be challenging but to try is all my heart desires
