Five years it's been since I held his hand and called someone else mine

Five years it's been being single and they say the world's all mine

Five years it's been I say and then I shake my head and smile

Five years, yeah, I guess that it has been a while

Five years of no time wasted and five years of endless patience

And five years working all the trauma out

Five years of self-loving and five years of learning something every day
