Rebirth

I was just a baby when I first started learning this

Sitting in the crib watching, listening, observing it

Had to crawl before I'd walk, mumble before I'd talk

Reading and writing, just letting time pass tic toc

Fed through the system, every level, had to graduate

That's not a proud accomplishment there's no need to congratulate

Never had a choice in the matter according to the state

Felt like I did a stretch in the pen after release date

Became a member of society, I hope I got my shit straight

Get a job to build a home for wife and kids and call it fate

Go with the flow and carry on traditional

Until I found out everything we been fed wasn't nutritional
