There's an empty chair in my house where we used to sit

When late at night you'd come over and visit

Now I still see you sitting right there in my dreams

But then you soon disappear when I wake to reality

Maybe I know you too much

And maybe I miss you too much

Now it's cold this morning, everything's empty and bare

I'm still getting used to you not being there
