Knows He Wins

The shadows on the wall they are getting to the point where I am shaking like a child again

I’ve lost sight of the peace You’ve promised me

Evil sometimes shades itself with flowers, sweets, and mountaintops

But I’ve also seen its ugly face and sometimes it deceives me even then

The stars declare the glory of the One who knows my story

So I’m waiting for the nightfall to remind myself of all that You have done

Hope is more than a wish

It knows what it knows

It knows that He wins

When heads are out of the sand they ponder all the crazy
