Roots like Veins

The veins inside our bodies are another sign

That points to God's creation, His perfect design

The roots beneath the trees and dendrites in our cells

Life-force directed and used to bring life to these shells

Even the lines of an orange, after you've peeled inside

Remind me of the perfection of our God's design

These roots like veins, sinking deep into the flow of life

Marvelous revelation of how we're all tied

I would wander lost in search of signs that point to God

And I found nothing, nothing
