Afters

After the afters the pills and the laughter and my mind's spilled out on the floor

Thoughts of your bed is running through my head, but you don't want to see me no more

That's some wishful thinking as I'm sat in the kitchen crushing out cigarettes

One who loved me and one who dumped me... one that I'll never forget

Now its morning I'm certain with the light through the curtain and I've got no place to go

The boys on the phone won't leave us alone but I ain't got a reason to say no

So don't complain about the mess

Cause we're all twenty-something once and really couldn't care less

And I'm on it again, Sunday's not my friend and god, has it got the right

I'm on... three hours sleep... now I'm two packets deep... and I've been drinking vodka all night
