Okay, I'm not in a rush, this year taught me a lot

What I had to go through, put me on the spot

These last five months God redeemed

And I'm praying for the same thing in 2023

But January, oh January, new beginnings

Was a new year, new school, friends became distant

Escaped the other school, transferred to a new prison

But an inmate followed me there, guess she had a new mission

Oh February, shot by a Cupid, new connection

It's not so bad, she's back in my life, now it's different

We was talking every day, felt like a blessing
