Fepiphany

The blizzard had him frozen down to the bone

Frozen lips, talkative as a stone

Now thawing, an effort to lift up his head

Mouth finds reason to make sense of this dread

The answer he sees now seems so crystal clear

But not enough time has passed for his eyes to adjust

Beyond stormy tundra, all he saw was…mirage clarity!

Faux vision ends, back in the raging cold snow

At least the body moving, even if slow
