I'm sitting in this hospital ward, and it's just me I'm all alone in-between these four walls

Nowhere to go

I'm drowning in the deepest of thoughts, I miss my home but I can't bare to speak to mum on the phone

Feel like a bum and it shows, I'm at the lowest of lows

And its a burden knowing that I contribute to her woes

So when I call I'll keep it short and sweet

I try to hold the tears but always seem to choke and weep

I promise mum it won't be long before again we meet

I'm here to learn to stand on my own feet so I can firm the dips and the peaks

Sometimes I'm better but I know that all the shit will repeat

And I'm aware that it'll pass whether a day or a week
