Superheroes

God gave me the gift of creation

So I owe it to him to man up and make it

What I spit's serene out my imagination

Marvellous like Stan Lee and those heroes invented

As a kid I liked spider man who'd swing from scrapers

But now I know it's cause he never gave up

Could see myself under his mask on my way to save another kid who'd find themselves in danger

Then things got darker and I turned to bat man

Who could persevere through grief and sadness

Had his parents taken but that didn't stop him

To defend his city and do the right thing
