It Makes Me Sad

I know that something's wrong, and it won't be too long

Until bitter words and truth open up fresh wounds

See, all the dark within, is like a distant violin

It sings to you sometimes, and it keeps you cold at night

It knows a troubled mind, It lays and waits inside

Like a parasite, feeding while you sleep at night

If you don't face it soon, then you will be consumed

Oh, you know you're not immune...don't you let it finish you

I don't want to go this way, and leave my soul on display

To be scrutinized or weighed...this is not judgement day
