Well I heard that Moses split the Red Sea

I’ve heard of miracles in Galilee

And I’ve heard that David dropped a giant with a stone

And I’ve heard that Jesus spent 40 days alone

I’ve heard gossip in the pews

I’ve seen joints rolled with the word

I’ve seen a man step outside to put a heater in the dirt

So forgive me when I question and wonder

If those sounds in the sky ain’t nothing but thunder

So don’t judge me when the congregation wonders
