Demons lurking in the shadows wait for me to slip up

And they come around with vices when I'm down on my luck

Think they pulled me out the deep when I'm down in a rut

But when I wake up from the trance It's like I'm already stuck

And it didn't have to be like this

I'm trying to be better but I can't resist

Feeling like I'm on my own

Going crazy while I'm stuck at home

I've had too many drinks, I think it's time for bed

But the demon on my shoulder's just another threat
