the curse

I've been crying out for help, I guess that nobody can hear me

Yeah I say that I'm okay, but to be real I'm nowhere near it

Don't be fooled by my demeanor, you know looks can be deceiving

I've been struggling to find a sense of purpose

What's the meaning?

Like these thoughts used to be fleeting, now they constantly deplete me

I've been thinking about a lot, but clearly ain't been thinking clearly

I don't ever ask for much, but all I want's some inner peace

Starting to think I'll only find it when I'm 6 feet underneath

And I know that everybody's out there fighting their own demons

Just can't help but feel that mine are all particularly evil

They stalk me through my days, and make certain I never sleep
