Daughter

To be honest

I used to not like it

When people asked if I have kids

Now I say I have a daughter

And she lives with her momma

But I never say where that is

Or if I do I don't say that I went my own way

It was so long ago though and she had no say

It was a choice you made? A choice I made, yup

I ain't seen her real face in like X amount of years

You know I'm a real man, I won't shed a lot of tears

You know I won't be at home looking through my phone
