Get Out of My Coffee

A coffee from a relatively unobserved café

Situated in between the frustrations of the day

It's a pretty nice sight to see me excited when the sign reads "open"

And I always stop there amidst a quest to later moments

On a Monday, it's a coincidence that the waitress has your hair

Tuesday, it's an inconvenience to catch your perfume in the air

Wednesday I can hear you laughing to my side

As I slur a stupid pun to get a roll in my server's eyes

Thursdays and Fridays I sit staring into the cup

And my to-be-caffeinated mind starts flooding it all back cos

Wherever I go, whatever I do
