Me and my wife were on vacation in Panama City

Hanging out by the pool when I saw something on the move

Felt a creature on my leg put down my drink and lifted my head

And looked right into his cross-eyed little face

A mackerel cat he must have been living on the street, he was so thin

So we got him 4 cans of tuna and burritos from the store

He'd hang out every day just lying next to us in the sun

We had the best of times

But after 2 weeks the time came to say goodbye
