As we approach the end of our practice

Take a moment to think of something you're grateful for in your life

Learned to meditate, with my back straight

And it got me back on the pathway

Used to take shortcuts and back ways

Lived my life at a fast pace, with a masked face

But then the virus came, so all that changed

Realized that I had a soul to maintain

And the only goal to obtain

Was going on right inside my brain

Wrote a tape and I named it "On the Way"

I thought that it would lead me somewhere great

I guess that it did, but not quite in the way I thought

Used to stay up all night trying to make it pop

So focused on starting, I forgot how to stop

But then I did

Stopped trying to win

Defied the box they put me in

Locked in, my pen

Got me tossing

Toxins

From my head

About times I wasted in the wrong in the places

Mistakes, step in the moment and understand that all that it takes

Is to embrace, your inner space

Or the sound of the words that I sung

When I understood all that you had done

To push me, to the be the man I need to be

Raised my vibrational frequency, and I think that's what made you speak to me

For the first time, now I'm

On cloud nine

So blessed, what's next

What could better than the way you invest

In helping me by the best version of myself

Don't go to flex cause know that I'm strong

I've become someone new that deep down I've been all along

Wrote this song in the second person, but quite possibly a note to self

Because you attract the same energy that you expel (Give 'em hell)
