It's cold outside, the windows are cracked

The patterns on car rooves swim and they curve and

The floor slips out from under my feet and I slide

Grass stands and leans over the others

Dogs jump through frosted greens

And they smile through frozen seams

Their walkers can't chase them so

So they watch as the animals embrace frozen home

It seems a sin to run an engine now

But smoke billows and chokes the breeze

I hold my breath and rush past

Watch me slip and slide up the road home

Around the park seems enough
