It's funny how

I was scared to think

I couldn't sleep a wink

These thoughts they convolute my mind

Wish I could see you someday later

The feeling would be so lovely

And we wouldn't have to speak

If every day were like the last we shared

A never ending show

I wish you would have stayed right here

But you felt you had to go

Sometimes

You scurry through my mind

And I smile most the time

But I'll never feel just fine

I haven't rested in a while

And I cry myself to sleep

Wish I could throw my arms around you now

I'd never let you leave

I pour my thoughts out on this paper

And I force myself to sing

I play these poems with all my heart

And I hope I'm not off key

It's kinda hard to feel much better

I just wish you didn't leave

But when you did, I wrote this letter

And at the bottom it's signed
