You change so fast

Anything that is not changing is dead

So I AM grateful to be alive

I AM grateful that my evolution is evident

It is healthy

And it's natural

I'm realizing that I have actually been hoarding emotions

When I don't give myself that space

To let go

And allow the natural process

So the next time someone says

Jubilee, you've changed

You're different

I'm going to say thank you

That's a compliment

That means I AM allowing life to happen

I AM alive

I AM growing

I AM evolving

I AM discovering

Who I AM

Just peeling back layers

That's all that is

They're just seeing a different layer

They might not see the process of me peeling them back

But I know what I know
