Two times nominee for Hippipo Music awards in 2012 and 2013 for Northern Artiste of the year.Profesa Maros started out in 2011 firing out several hit-after-hit of Dancehall, Afro Beat and Zouk Styles of Music in a mixture of Luo, Luganda and English - Such as #Ovacado, #Abonyo Otingere, #Tam Iryo and #KotoKoto which is still trending on airwaves in Lango - among others.He now owns Hot Soup Music Uganda, a record label based in Lira, Northern Uganda, with artistes such as; Deal Rafael, Zero-Kao, Fifi, Ory-Jeino
