Lyrics
Mrs. Mom wakes up every morning and washes away her tears
Takes a walk in the scorching sun just wasting away the years
She makes a right on Offspring Street and wishes she was dead
For it reminds her of the nights with no sleep just laying in her bed
She said
I only know what I've been told in the long run
And at three years old my mom up and left to England
I guess I never learned my lesson
You see words of wisdom I detested them
On this regular route, she passes by a door
Behind it, there's a house and in it so much more
This time she goes and knocks on that wooden gate
Her baby boy answers and at the site of her bursts into flames of hate
She replied
I only know what I've been told in the long run
And at three years old my mom up and left to England
I was told not to have one of my own
And if, if I did, I should abandon it in the cold
I guess I never learned my lesson
You see words of wisdom I detested them
I only listened to the negative
And thought screw the rest of em'
Mom I've had enough you keep coming back for more
Mom don't you remember you left me when I was four
And ever since that day you left me in the rain
The drops trickle down my face as I pray and pray
For you to be gone
I only know what I've been told in the long run
And at three years old my mom up and left to England
I was told not to have one of my own
And if, if I did, I should abandon it in the cold
I guess I never learned my lesson
You see words of wisdom I detested them
I only listened to the negative
And thought screw the rest of em'
