April 19th, 2019 is when I became Muslim

The rationale behind my decision was to get closer to Him

Him is God, Superior Being, Almighty, Creator, or Allah

Won't be a proper religious song if I don't say Bismillah

Has been four years already

I can say that I don't have any

Regrets about my life-changing choice

I'm happy I chose this path early in my twenties

Of course, I did things I'm not proud of

I own all my mistakes but in my life

Judging other folks is a huge turnoff

All the negative people got cut off

Thinking that you're perfect is not funny

I'm not superior to anybody

People of other faiths especially

Religion has to be dealt with individually

That's how we should see it, in my eyes

Being too judgmental can't be nice

Don't judge me but you can give me advice

My conversion had nothing to do with paradise

That was a side note. We're in the same boat

Nobody knows what's gonna happen after death

Yet I'm not going to stop believing till my last breath

Chill! Tell the religion haters that we are not deaf

We should just give them the silent treatment

Their critiques stem from condescendence

Believing in God doesn't make sense

Goes both ways. Can we even be in agreement

The Christian feminists or all the other believers?

Why am I even posing these questions, knowing it could be considered cynicism?

But I caught myself several times doing things against my values

Things I thought were making me happy when they were making my heart bruise

Maybe I should better understand what it means to cut loose

As long as I'm with God, how can I lose?

I don't have this naive idea that everything going on is because of God

I believe in free will and that greedy capitalists who're at the wheel should be fought

Some religious leaders are not different from The Borgias. Their good deeds are a façade

We are not allowed to talk about what is real or acts that cause more sad

-ness. Don't need a hook. These thoughts are not catchy

Songs like this make me unhappy and happy

Not because I'm afraid they're gon' be trashy

But if someone's gonna catch what I mean

When everybody's lost, what do you do to avoid misguidance?

I wanna go beyond materialism. I might just need a séance
