It's safe to say

We all want to experience genuine love, right

I would like to think

There's nobody out there

Who consciously chooses

To display corrupt love

I learned the hard way

You can't have what you don't understand

And a lot of us don't understand love

Because we weren't taught it

Back in ancient Egypt

They were taught love

At a young age

They had initiations

When I was young

I can't speak for everyone else

But I didn't go through classes teaching

The science of love

In the past

I didn't have a complete understanding

Matter of fact

I think a lot of us share the experience

Of being in a broken household

By broken

I mean that mom and dad are no longer together

Negative energy is contagious

We don't forget

We hold on to that corrupt image of love

The insecurities

The physical violence

Verbal abuse

Cheating

And so forth

Those images is like planting seeds in your brain

And over time

Those seeds grow

If we don't unplug the seeds

Then as you get older

You start behaving in a similar manner

If you aren't conscious of it

Unconsciously

You begin to express corrupt love

Not to give anyone an excuse

But that means you're not acting intentionally

To express that corrupt love

Nor is it free will

Because it's your programming

I choose to forgive myself

And I believe everyone can forgive themselves as well

There's good and bad in that statement

We can look at it as nothing can be done to fix it

Or we can see the opportunity to improve ourselves

And be intentional on fixing it

Another way we are programmed is through TV shows and movies

Just think about it

What did you see in love movies when you were young

You saw the idea of a happy ever after

The knight in shining armor

Who is this perfect

And handsome individual

Coming to save the day

Then he frees the girl from all her pain

Then it's happy ever after

People don't understand

How damaging that illusion can be

Because it's fake

It's not genuine love

But we go searching for that illusion

And whenever the relationship you're in falls short

Or it's not imitating that illusion

We say things like

It's not meant to be

Or this person isn't the one

As if that knight in shining armor is really out there

This is exactly why people's relationships are not lasting as long

And the divorce rate is steadily increasing

The reality is polarity states

That bad and good is a package deal

There'll always be opposites

If we don't know what bad is

How can we know good

Vice versa

We are misled to believe

That love is all good and perfect

Well, perfect don't exist

Nothing's perfect

Your relationship or marriage will never be perfect

There will always be things to work on with your partner

It's also important to understand

You aren't perfect

There's always things to work on for yourself

That's where it starts

Most of the situations we experience

Can I be real

Is because of ourselves

The good

And the bad

In order to truly understand that

It takes self-love

You have to dig deep within

And see how you contributed to the problem

What could you have done

Or said differently

Know thyself, right

If you don't take time to understand yourself

And love yourself,

How can you love your partner

Divinely

If you don't confront your demons

Or work through your problems

One

You can't pull yourself up and connect to the divine within you

And two

You can't help your partner become the best version of themselves

Nor will you be able to understand your partner fully

You feel me

That's what this is about

Growing together

Choosing to love your partner regardless of their flaws

Choosing to loveyour partner

Even though they hurt you

Choosing to love your partner

Through storms

And there will be many

Believe that

But that is love

That's unconditional and divine love

It's beautiful when you're able to see that growth in your partner

And make sure

When you see it

Give gratitude

Let them know

You see the change and effort

That's positive reinforcement

I read this book called The Science of Love by John Baines

Such a powerful book, by the way

Definitely in my top three

Anyways

To sum it up

What the author state divine love is

He states, love is energy

Which is also spirit

All living things has energy

And what we put our energy into grows

Your relationshipa

Your marriage

Your friendships

Business relationships

Family

All that will grow

Make sure it's divine energy you choose to express

Or else the other individual will grow corruptly

Because growth works both ways

You heard the saying

God is in the flesh, right

I'm not religious

But the Bible states

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart

And with all thy soul

And with all thy mind

That was the first and great commandment

The second is thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself

It's only practical when you choose to see the divine within yourself

And everything living

So choose divine love

Divine love is

Forgiving

Understanding

And constructiveness
