I try not to let it get the best of me

This childhood trauma still inside of me

I wonder why I act the way I do

Then I realize it's because of what I went through

Lately I been unpacking all my issues

And lately I been thinking about our issues too

I'm just gone write my issues down on pieces of paper

Put them in a bowl and shake them real fast

The next day I wake up im gone start my day with one

It took some time to get here

2 Decades to be exact im 26 my trauma started with I was 6

Before I knew how to take control of my life

I was taken away by the only that gave me life

But that's a topic for a different song

I know i'm grown now I should just be able to move on

But I still have flashbacks so I
