I’m not sure about a lot of things.

And I’m Not sure about anything actually.

But I do have a strong feeling, that Love isn’t a person.

A status. A character. Or an amount of a physical thing.

I realized, I used to think love was something I could control.

I could demand. I could make a rule about love that should be followed.

But I realized, love, you can’t put barriers and borders on.

Love issa feeling.

It’s something that cannot be seen, but felt.

I used to chase love as an idea.

Pick out people and say, I want them to love me,

and think just because I give them love,

they gonna give it back.

And if they didn’t,

then I wouldn’t want love at all or believe I wasn’t worthy of love.

But really, love doesn’t work like that.

Love is inside the smaller of actions, tiniest of motions within people that interact with you.

The Universe never leaves you unloved.

I had to realize this.

If I feel like I’m not getting that big ol love from the thing or person I want,

then my perspective is out of focus.

My frequency is, out of range.

I needed to realize that all the little bits and pieces of love that are circulating around me and embrace and hold onto those things.

Not too tightly, let ‘em go, let ‘em flow.

Now, I’m not picky at all now about how I love.

I am open arms and open minded to receive what the Universe has for me.

Because when you don’t have that piece of big ol love that you thought you wanted, that little piece is everything you need. Now that is Love.
