The guidance in this book is written in a conversational tone from one mom to another and is served up in bite-sized pieces. It is meant to prepare you for the discussions you need to have and the decisions you need to make while keeping your children as the focus...and prioritizing yourself too. Ultimately, the goal is for you to be able to put your experience in the category of a “good divorce.”
Meet Sarah Armstrong, good divorce proponent and author of The Mom’s Guide to a Good Divorce, is vice-president, of global marketing operations, at Google, and proud mom of Grace, who was seven years old when Sarah divorced. This fall, Grace will enter her junior year in college. Sarah is a mentor to other women as well as men in business, and a longtime volunteer at various nonprofit organizations, including the Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation, Georgetown Alumni Admissions Program, and soup kitchens.
