Weekend 2 kicked off with eclectic lineup, relaxed performances and a surprise appearance from Lizzo, Hayley Williams and Kendrick Lamar. Throwback jams and power duets set the tone for the second weekend of this year’s festival welcoming back festival attendees with a variety of musicians, lining up performances concurrently across seven stages for 12 hours.
Billie Eillish , Harry Styles, and Swedish House Mafia with the Weeknd once again headlined the festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Rapper Baby Keem sent hip-hop fans into a frenzy by bringing out Lamar, his cousin, for a live performance of their Grammy-winning collab while headliner Billie Eilish surprised Coachella Weekend 2 attendees with Haylay William on Saturday night for a rare performance of Paramo’s 2007 hit “Misery Business.”
Harry Styles was joined onstage by special guest Lizzo during Weekend 2 of the Indio music festival, who lovingly described the "As It Was" singer as "gods gift to rock n roll." Lizzo's guest appearance during Styles' Coachella set came about exactly a week after the former boyband member invited Shania Twain to perform with him last Friday.
Plenty of music and fun was experienced by the festivalgoers as The Weeknd Closed Out Coachella With Hit-Filled, Tag-Team Set with Swedish House Mafia. A barrage of fist-pumping beats and euphoric melodies that defied the argument that big-room EDM had died.
While the lineup remained the same both weekends, not everything stayed the same during the twin weekend. There were a few of the differences between weekend one and two at Coachella such as different surprises, lineup changes and a smoother flow of the event.
