Expressing her artistry through the gentle and consoling sounds of her voice and harmonies, as opposed to her rather robust and vigorous-like lyrics, 20 year old singer/songwriter Maya Mae creates a sound that could be described as a fusion of contemporary RnB and Urban-Pop. Not wanting to limit herself, she experiments with different kind of sub genres, seeking revival within each project.
Along with her passion for music, she’s also determined to cultivate her passion for film and direction. This results in Maya writing screenplays and directing her own music videos, combining her musical and visual attributes for the sake of creation. Surely working towards a future where she can write and direct visual stories for other artists as well.
Being surrounded by music since day one, her goal has always been to make her music go global and touch as many people with it as possible.
