Kesiye Aye-Dikuro (KvY) is a Nigerian, Canadian based Afro-fusion/Afro-pop artist who takes pride in his versatility and his ability to merge his unique sounding vocals with cadences and flows that give listeners this “best of both worlds” sentiment about his music. He is heavily inspired and influenced by artist such as Burna boy, Wizkid, MI, Lil wayne and Drake to name a few.
He comes from the southern part of Nigeria, Bayelsa state to be specific.
He was born and raised in Lagos where he completed all of his primary and secondary education before moving to Canada.
KvY had been making music as a hobby since his 9th grade back home up until he released his first official single “Baddie” in 2017 and then followed up with “Higher” shortly after.
He has gone ahead to release other records such as the dancehall infused “Skin Out” of summer 2019, a two pack project titled “Hers & His” of which the ladies’ favourite “Manlikekay” is the leading record, in early 2020.
He has over this period of time continued to build a network in Canada and in Africa as well. and has collaborated with several other upcoming acts (artists & producers) based in Canada, Nigeria and the UK to create records like Funke and Friends, On You and many more....more
