Accent

Accent is a storyteller, rapper and former street performer from the East Village of New York City. Early on in his career, when times were rough, Acc realized he could make money in the streets rapping for change and for a few years he worked as a busker on St. Mark's Place and in Union Square Park. During this time he advanced his craft as a performer and freestyler, and learned to shed his artistic inhibitions and embrace his vulnerability as a man. With the voice of a born-rapper, Acc details his powerful lived experiences through his technically-advanced and poetic lyricism, which creates a truly unique sound. His rap-writing has earned him praise from respected co-writers like Skyzoo, KXNG Crooked of Slaughterhouse, and Benefit as well as many hip-hop fans who want to hear it evolve into something new.
