As main producer Fly 98 and main vocalist/lyricist WhyAy started joking about making music together they quickly discovered their chemistry and talent. Whilst coming up with ideas for their first tracks they stumbled upon a young lyricist/producer named Scramble, completing the group now know as Type.
Type started off with their first track 'Heights', which remains their most popular track thus far. The group's main characteristics are quality, positivity and BARS. After not much longer than a month Type followed up there first track with their second single ‘A’dam and Evenings’, which gives out a more chill vibe than their previous track. For their third track 'Big Mac' created what could only be described as a club banger!
