Cross Wires
The debut full length album from the band ‘A Life Extinct’ was released by Culture War Records on Friday 1st November on Vinyl (limited silver 300 copies) as well as digitally. The tracks ‘Distraction Technique’ and ‘Death Of The Human Fly’ have been played on Radio X (John Kennedy) and BBC 6 Music (Tom Robinson) and the album featured in many best of 2019 end of year lists.
It was recorded at Kluster Rooms in Limehouse, East London and produced by Rory Attwell (The Vaccines, Telegram, Palma Violets, The Cosmics)
‘A Life Extinct’ is not a concept album in the traditional sense but the theme of extinction looms large across the 11 tracks.
‘A Life Extinct’ follows 2017’s well received mini album ‘Living In A Radio City’ various tracks from the album earned air play from BBC Introducing, Virgin and Amazing Radio and were featured by a host of well respected blogs and websites including - Fred Perry Subculture, Tom Robinson’s Fresh On the Net (Fresh Faves) Little Indie Blogs, God Is in The TV, Killing Moon and The Devil Has The Best Tuna.
Cross Wires have built up a great live reputation playing across some of the best venues around London including - The Old Blue Last, Sebright Arms, Birthdays, The Victoria, The Monarch and recently opened the Punktastic stage at Camden Rocks Festival....more
