Azubuike Joshua Tochuckwu, known by his stage name Tilly, is an emerging artist hailing from Lagos, Nigeria. Born in 2002, the 21 year old's musical journey began with melodies that served as his storytellers, a discovery he made during his early years in college. Tilly recognized his innate gift for singing and sensed that music was his true calling. However, his pursuit of music had to be put on hold due to the demands of studies and family commitments and Tilly decided that he would fully dedicate himself to his music career upon graduating from highschool. As the momentous day approached, Tilly eagerly anticipated the opportunity to immerse himself in the world of music. In 2023, with just a year left in high school, Tilly made his debut in the music scene with the release of his single titled "Dey for You." To his surprise, the single garnered significant attention, thanks to its incessant melodies, infectious beats, professional production, and his raw passion which the track was drenched in. Tilly wastes no time and immediately followed up with his second single, "MOOD," at the end of August and promises more to come. With his musical talent and determination, Tilly is on the path to becoming a notable figure in the afrobeat scene, and his journey is certainly one to keep an eye on.
