Lucas Emeodi AKA Kiing Lu is a music executive and cultural entrepreneur from Nigeria. Born in Jos, Lucas began his career in music, creating and performing records as a musician and music producer in 2005. He moved to Ghana in 2008 to acquire an expansive experience into the workings of the music industry and music business.
After relative success abroad, he returned to Nigeria in 2014, where he joined a fledgling record label, serving as the label manager to harness and seed new talents into mainstream
consciousness. In 2018, he took up a role at Universal Music Group Nigeria, guiding the establishment of the global music powerhouse as a local entity, via his efforts as an A&R exec, and
the company’s Head of Promotions.
