The Party People, coming out of Denver, Colorado, are gaining huge ground in the electronic music arena. Their sets are deeply fused with retro hip hop, modern synth designs, and a strong anchor in funk, blues, and jazz.
The trio consists of TurnTablist / Producer, Mikey Thunder - Producer / Dj, Mr. Bugatti - and Lyricist/Dj, Benjamin's Vibe.Music goers experiencing The Party People live will see the invigorating display of master scratching, tossed on over to a live MC dishing out freestyles as much as written material; all over a swanky, glitchy, funky, fluidly mixed set. Their sounds entangle remixes and throwback samples with crunchy yet welcoming modern sound design. Starting to incorporating live instrumentalists, they're progress and momentum is apparent.
